Our story began on October 19th, 2021—the day after Matt’s birthday. Melissa likes to joke that she was his late birthday present, but from the moment they met, it felt like they’d been waiting for each other all along. What started as a swipe on Bumble quickly blossomed into something magical.

Matt and Melissa are the perfect balance of fun and calm, adventure and routine. They bonded over their shared love of spicy food, their deep connection with their children—Melissa’s daughters, Elliot and Emery, and Matt’s son, Liam—and their ability to find joy in the simplest moments. Whether they’re cooking up a storm in the kitchen, dreaming up new recipes, or spending lazy afternoons gardening together, they know how to make every moment special.

What makes their relationship so easy is the way they just fit. Matt’s laid-back, go-with-the-flow nature is the perfect match for Melissa’s energetic, always-on-the-go personality. They laugh at everything, support each other through anything, and have found in each other a kind of love that’s as real as it is deep.
